The movie player that can compatible with _____ .dat files???

The touch player on Omnia II cannot play movies with ____ .dat files. I also try Coreplayer but it still cannot.

Anyone can help or give advices so that we will not need to convert movies into mpeg-4 format files.

dat files should be simple mpeg1 files. Coreplayer should be able to play them.
