Guest Rothariger Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Hello, im in a trip in Barcelona (Spain) and i use the IGO8 GPS Software, the thing is that sometimes i cant get signal... i just have signal outside the center of the city, if i have a couple of big buildings around, i cant fix position... is there any way of getting a better signal? maybe an external antenna? thanks!!!

Yo soy de Barcelona y me funciona bien. Has provado con las opcion xtra activada y con su archivo descargado?

Hi, I found that baud rate in Igo8 settings every time jumps to some 50000 (instead of 9600 in phone settings). When it happens all other GPS programs have problems. Putting "auto" baud rate in Igo8 doesn't help, since it jumps back after a while...then I put it to 9600 and it seems much better. (for every GPS program)
