On Samsung Today, I can't add shortcuts. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like you are missing ShortcutPicker.exe

Copy this to the windows folder, soft reset and you should be good.

Just flashed this rom.

No problem adding shortcuts.

You have to press on space below shortcuts until you get a popup that says "Change"

Click "Change" and you will get a list of programs to select from.

I had expected to see the + icons as for photo contacts which I thought I'd seen in previous versions. I tried pressing but not for long enough it seems!

I am using 12 April 2010: JD1 (23103) / 23557 Lite version

and I have the following issues.

On incoming call screen there is no photo when receiving a call.

I can see the photos from all other samsung apps, phonebook etc

It used to work prior synchronization if I remember well.

No way to fix it so far.

Does anyone face the above?

I have hard reset and just synchronize with outlook my contacts.

Samsung incoming screen photo of the contact does not work.

It shows defaults unknown photo instead.

Although photo exists for the contact and I can see on all samsung and Microsoft apps.

@Gary this might be problem compatibility with 23557 and the other sys you are testing.

If you guys are talking about favorites as shown in the Titanium Today screen, I

know nothing about how it works.

I'm sure Sonblack may know as he modified the Titanium today program.

I have no change log and have not found one. It is an update, but what

exactly is updated I'm not sure. Without a change log I would have to do a file-by-file

compare which would take a painstakingly long time.

If I can find a change log, I will post it.

In your rom 12 April 2010: JD1 (23103) / 23557 Lite version does not show the photo of caller.

If someone is going to flash with latest ROM released should check please on this too.

Ok, if you want to make changes to the Titanium Today screen, use this link:

Add/Change Titanium Panels

It provides a program that allows you to change (add/delete) things from the Today screen.

I'm playing around with it right now.

I have java program installed in esmertec java and it is impossible to reinstall this program after rom flash, how can I backup this java program to use later after flashing your last rom

Gary,

Your last release with sys 23113 works fine.

Contact photos show up correctly during incoming call.

I guess JD1 and 6.5.3 combination seems to work better than with 6.5.5

the samsung today version is a great rom, the only unpleasant thing I have is that the free RAM dropped to 50MB after one day use...;)

btw I have a question, can I change the samsung today background? how?

I don't think you can.

I've tried but was unable to change it.

You may want to look in the Today*.dll files.

Maybe someone on this forum knows how to change it. Anyone?
