Guest dande Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 I have Phone : I8000XXJD1 I don't hard reset after flashing because each time i hard reset it erases "My Storage" even if i ask not to erase ! It's necessary to do it to solve your problems (or at least try). Do it this way and will not be erased. Shutdown device. When device is off, press buttons volume up (on the left) power off (on the right) and answer key (green -down left) and reject (red key -down right) and keep them till the device boots up and shows the message "Format" or "continue" or something similar that I don't remember. At this stage leave all buttons and select answer button (Green) This is HR and the "My storage" will be left untouched. Cheers
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Hello, Do you have the matching BT Icon in as well? J. Did not come with separate BT icon - not my taskbar.
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) I see, can you tell me what is the string name/url for ms contacts? Don't know. Maybe search Modaco or xda-developers. Try this: ":MSCONTACTS" Edited April 19, 2010 by Gary Crutcher

Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 hi GC, i notice u are using the non wm7 applauncher i think that the difference why there is a space / blank below the edit/launch button Yes and if you use the WM7 version you end up with "no app" icons in the blue area. Esthetically, it looks better with the blue bar. Especially, if you are someone like me who has few apps on the AppLauncher.
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Here is the WM7 version if you want to use it: AppLauncher120_WM7_TICS.CAB

Guest quizesilver Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 my offset seem wrong. it is too low. any advise ?
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Since I am having a similar problem that some of you are having with picture numbers starting from 1 every time you flash a new rom, I will be writing a mortscript to solve this. This assumes you are using \My Storage\DCIM folder for your pictures. Will post after testing.
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 my offset seem wrong. it is too low. any advise ? You can try to use "Start JMLOffset" from the menu at the bottom when AppLauncher is highlighted.
Guest nap_rz Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Don't know. Maybe search Modaco or xda-developers. Try this: ":MSCONTACTS" thank you, it's working! with autoclose patch and registry tweaks also sleek themes and wallpaper now my omnia2 is what it should've been!
Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Here is mortscript that will do the following: 1. Rename \Storage Card\DCIM to \Storage Card\Today's Date 2. Create a new \Storage Card\DCIM folder This script does not change any files in the DCIM folder. You should run the script before you flash a rom - assuming you do not erase your Storage Card during flashing. I would suggest copying this script to your \My Storage\ card as it is not usually touched during flashing. You can run the script from there. As a side note: you can run this script everyday to save pictures on a daily basis to separate folders. Feedback requested DCIM_Date.zip

Guest Gary Crutcher Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Hi. I'm a fan of your ROM. I'm still using your B3 ROM until now. I've a problem. Everytime I flash my phone, the filename counter for the camera will be reset. So my old pictures will be overwritten once I take new pictures after flashing my phone. I would like to ask how to apply the files from http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-applet-driver/ So can anyone please guide me on how to use the files? Or can GC please cook in the files into the ROMs? See post # 239
Guest Rufik Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I have a problem with lock screen - there is no my custom .cpr file but some gray screen with button "tap to unlock". Is the .cpr lockscreen disabled in this rom? I'm using this one with WM 6.5.5 build 23557

If you have a copy of your original I8000xxIH5 PDA, then you can try. I would suggest updating the phone and CSC parts. I haven't tried updating the PDA only with a csc and phone part that old.

I posted a link for the EURO JD1 original rom (all 4 parts) in this thread. Not sure which page it is on.
Guest Rufik Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 You are on the wrong thread. Yes, I used to have this version and this was an issue that never solved. Flash a new rom. So, there is other thread dedicated to GC Lite ROMs based on JD1? No other ROM has been giving me this problem with lockscreen, including previous cooked by GC, so I wrote here. Did you see any topic ralated with this "gray lockscreen" problem?
Guest dande Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 You are on the wrong thread. Yes, I used to have this version and this was an issue that never solved. Flash a new rom. Gary is right it was JC2 23549 which had this problem with the lock screen. And he posted a registry change in that thread. Take a look there.
