[TUT] Installing HTC Sense 2.5.2011 on the B7610

Have anyone tried Sense 2.5 version with the Rhodium Core?

I think it works faster, just installed it in my unreleased v2 GA Rom (It's not megalite so I'm left with only 10Mb available storage/ 63Mb ram -sense running), and it's seems good

I've tried the Sense 2.5 cabs that Rapid81 released along with his ROM but both normal and rhodium just say install unsuccessful.

Huh...I install it and it was successful...

Maybe you can try again...

That version seems good...Tabs are working good too

Ive tried god knows how many times...I've tried installing it on quite a few of your MEGAlite roms...but still doesnt work. Was there anything else you installed before the sense 2.5 cab? or what version ROM do you recommend?

This is what I notice on that version of Sense:

- from fresh boot, it loads faster

- tabs slide smoother

- assigning shortcuts is faster

- photos show up in Photo and Video tab

- new HTC Album

- Stocks tab work nicely

- Messages and Email tab: Messages glide smoothly up and down, replying takes you to samsung sms-mms creator (when I run it the first time, there was an HTC sms editor that opens up when replying, it works, but was gone after I soft reset)

- Recent documents tab works nicely, it shows my pdf ebook

- Facebook tab works

- Changing Home Tab wallpaper works

-Weather Demos are faster (when performance is in normal or high)

Bugs:

-When entering text on text boxes, graphics outside the text box become some like squeezed horizontally, but turns to normal after confirming the text, nothing serious

If you really like Sense, you will surely like the Rhodium version...I'm starting to like it also.u
