Guest ED2O9 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 When I hold the left phone button, I get the following message: "The file 'Voice Recognition' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file." I have Voice Command linked to the side "OK" button, but would prefer to use the phone button. Does anyone know how to relink the held phone button or possibly rename the Voice Command application link so that it replaces Voice Recognition? BTW - AE Button Plus doesn't work properly with this button. This should be simple, but as is so often the case with Samsung it's a pain in the a$$.
Guest jebise Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 don't use samsung settings for this. Windows settings -> personal -> Button and click the one you want to change.
Guest ED2O9 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I'm using the Windows settings, but there are no options for "Hold" on that button. In fact, the button naming is a joke. Only through experimenting can you figure out that "Button 1" is the center button below the screen and "Button 2" is the "OK" button to the left. I have NO idea what the other two mystery "Buttons" are.
Guest ED2O9 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Another option is to find a CAB for Voice Recognition from Nuance and reinstall it. I checked the cab repository and there's nothing there. Any suggestions?
