Guest jbr05ki Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I received my O2 last week and I noticed the OK button was gone. I thought it would be attached to the back battery cover. But alas it wasn't. How is it supposed to look like? Thanks!

Guest surgex Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) What? OK button is bottom left side...soft reset is underneath battery cover, to the right of the OK button. Edited April 13, 2010 by surgex
Guest jbr05ki Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I guess another trip to the Verizon store is in my future.
Guest kdkinc Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I got tired of taking off the battery cover when I had to soft reset the phone. Sometimes the software version of soft reset didn't work. So I took a nail file and made a notch just big enough so that my stylus could hit the reset button. If I ever need a new battery cover there only about $4.00 from VZW. ;) ;)
Guest jbr05ki Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 i thought the soft reset was at the top of the phone. What is that hole for?

LOL your stuck i910 era ;) I thought the same, as you look at the screen the lower button (button 2) on the side (also can be the ok button). just below it WHEN you TAKE OFF the battery cover is the reset button.Real accessible Samsung. That why i made a notch in my cover... ;) ;) Edited April 13, 2010 by kdkinc

Guest jbr05ki Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 @kdkinc Your MacGuyver-ism inspired me to make my own "OK" button. So far it's a rolled up piece of paper that sits in there between my silicon skin.
