extend batery life

i was serching for ways to extend the battery life for my omnia 2. i found out one way is to deactivate the 3g reception(if you don't need it) from settings/network settings/band selection and select the band that works in your country and one other post: http://forums.techarena.in/portable-devices/1219543.htm

this post was about tweak the registry for the battery. has anybody tried any of this and know that they work? i just bougth my omnia 2 so i dont' know about it battery life but i did both of the changes. does anyone knows another way?

the best way to extend the battery life is to have a spare one. I have 3 ;)
