i was until recently using nemo player from acer liquid for both audio & video ... but removed it cause it sucks too much ram

for msn , skype , facebook chat & etc .. use nimbuzz (search the android market) , i've been using this since symbian version came out & it still rocks on android .

however for video playing , i havent found any alternative yet ..

I quite like the Stock HTC app for music but also use Meridian, as far as Video goes its YxFlash all the way... Divx support!

Stock player works great for music IMHO; for videos I use nswPlayer and Handbrake to convert movies into suitable M4Vs.

I dont get why handbrake makes the files .m4v instead of .mp4 =/
