It's not JD5, only CSC is JD5 (I think it's full CSC for Europe, almost 200mb), the PDA part is JD3. no phone part.

ok. all files here...

just flash it...almost same with JD1, no Cube, no Mainmenu, the XTRA bug still there...

the only different I found is, a extra program: Rich Internet in start menu (I saw this file in JD1 also, but it's not in the menu).

A new ROM still? Damn, Samsung sure is fast these days at pumping out updates for the Omnia II, something they hardly did with the first. Three to four ROMs a month...

Nice ;) I always thought that JD1 was a transition-rom because of it's strange structure, i.e. cube and main menu regkeys in .provxml and no trace of the .exes.

If they fixed the bugs and put back in the Cube and Main Menu, then I'm going to update. Only a word, though: is it possible to revert to JA5 style phonebook, without the keyboard popping up?

maybe not... it look like almost same with JD1... I'll dump the rom and compare it with JD1, if only a few change, maybe just update the cab files only.

yes, same with other Europe NXX rom, and it include all CSC now.

No Cube/Mainmenu and still bugged? Hm, perhaps this is just a later build of JD1 and not a real release... I find it strange for Samsung to kill off two peculiarities of the device - has anyone tried copying over the .exe's and running them? Maybe they are rewriting them to 6.5.3 specs.

The best is to flash it, not more questions. Is diferent to jd1 because the csc file is complete, is not how the jd1.

The Samsung widget screen background seems to be fixed for 6.5.3, the JD1 version had the graphic bug with double background.
