This is the ROM discussion subforum. I haven't tried it yet, still thinking about it. I'd like to know what has changed first.
Guest jbr05ki Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I would like to know as well. If it fixes that issue where apps automatically close then I'm def gonna jump.

If you have the i920 this has the best i920 roms (cdma) The 8000 section is great for themes, software ideas , and WALPAPER. Thanks for making the original find and post I gave you the credit and like you ...whose tried it??? As soon as I can get a complete down load I'll push the big red button and what happens. ;) ;)

I jumped on the first update and installed it before they pulled it and then re-released it. I didn't have any problems after installing it, but I didn't see any real changes either. Please post what you learn as soon as you learn anything about this new release. Edited April 19, 2010 by jharbin
Guest surgex Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) Wow, after I just installed their old update last week with the CK24 phone and now Yardi's rom they come up with another update... I really hope this is an official 6.5.3 or 6.5.5... Someone please let us know! Unfortunately I can not test -- my phone is damn near perfect now besides the lack of nuance ;) If you will notice, that section isn't just for the i8000 it is called labeled "i8000 & Verizon SCH-i920 Omnia II". This is the ROM discussion subforum. I haven't tried it yet, still thinking about it. I'd like to know what has changed first. I'm not a mod but this is probably the best place to talk about i920 (Verizon Omnia2) specific stuff, especially official ROM updates... Thanks to both JHarbin and KDInc! Here's the link, I will download and post a mirror as well since their site is _always_ slow as balls: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/mobile/...amp;tab=support http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/...ol_v1.0.1.9.exe Also make sure u disable popup blocker, it messes with it somehow. I have also emailed their support asking for a proper changelog (samsung should really understand this by now that a proper changelog is of the utmost importance!!). Edited April 19, 2010 by surgex

I did not have to uncheck the "do not allow usb" it auto did that for me. Also this may work for you....Already have "slide2shutdown open when setting up. When the phone tries to restart, you do the reset instead. Not sure it that will help you or not.
