how do i create my own META INF?

sorry, I've been quite busy..

btw there's a topic on this forum about signing updates: here

Still, I didn't heve to sign my booanimation.zip, so IMHO the problem is not there..

hi thanks,

ok so ive now signed it using the update.zip autosigner but now the devide says E:cant find the update script??

So i changed the name of the update_signed.zip back to bootanimation.zip and still no luck...

Could you please explain how you created YOUR boot animation and how you got it to work with any signing?

I'd be VERY greatful!

thanks for all your help so far.

Edit. ok I noticed the new signed file didnt have the "com" folder in it so I copied over and now I get a different error about the script file!!

God am I doomed at this or what??

Best way is to use meta-inf folder from others package, look how whole update.zip file looks, add files to

/system/media folder and than sign with autosign tool.

Cheers

You mean that "android" flashing through the screen?

Just delete bootanimation.zip, the original is located in frameworks
