Guest dgmorland Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 The voice search works well - it even understands my New Zealand accent ;) I found one issue when I had Resco Contact Manager enabled. By default, Resco Contact Mgr overrides the hardware "call" button that normally launches the dialer. Google maps uses this button to start a voice search (only when you are in the Maps app). If Resco is configured to override the "call" button it gets in the way of starting the voice search option in maps.
Guest skinnypupp Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Cool! Maps is the only thing Google actually puts any effort into on WinMo.
Guest FerdiBorbon Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 ditto, good release ;) you dont have to sound like a robot and it recognizes casual talk ;) thumbs up to google!

Guest dwallersv Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Sucks that they tied this into the Call button... if you've disabled the OEM dialer, it doesn't work.
