I might then change things in the ROM that make it traceable, build-number etc.

It's fast enough :D

Live wallpapers are a bit laggy at times, but at least the don't slow down the device much.

Even if the wallpapers are awfully lagging, scrolling is still pretty smooth :P

And there is definitely an space issue.

I installed 5 apps and went out of memory :P

This is pretty much unusable without A2SD.

Maybe you guys now understand that it's a bit risky to release this right now...

And please, no more questions about my "source" :P

This is good news. Huawei understood the power of community, and started using us. Thats pretty cool!

It's not risky, how exactly are they going to trace it back.

Think how many other beta releases have been leaked previously.

(Prepare for my first helpful reply :D )

The way i think it works is the build that BigBear has is signed to his "source" and if he released it public, then Huawei would find the "source" and sack it. Hard :P

AmIRite? :P

I'm afraid that you are :P

Except one detail: The "sign" is the buildnumber

and how are they going to do this if HTC can't? Plus HTC has/had more to lose with their roms being leaked.

I'm sure alot of employees have access to the code/a unit running it.

As he said, change some files about, change the build numbers etc.

Job done.

Ever thought that Huawei might be watching us? :P

Maybe some of us are hidden huawei staff.. Maybe me.. maybe YOU! :D

Sorry, but it's not my nature to attack somebody from behind that trusts me.

If I weren't trustworthy, I wouldn't have got the ROM.

Was just looking at your messages on twitter & it seemed as though Paul was interested in the 2.1 leak? If possible could you not share the leak with Paul & work together, which would surely speed the process up & probably help you greatly? Also from past leaks Paul appears pretty professional/reliable when it comes to protecting the sources :D

Sure, I already asked Paul to have a look at this thread, but it seems that he's not so interested anymore in the Pulse though :P

I'm sure that he could help me, or to say it better, that I could watch him doing it :P

Okay, more to come tomorrow.

See you, guys :D

TBH it doesn't really matter if HTC can or can't find the sources of their leaks or if it happens on XDA or anything.

If BigBear wants to do right by his source, then let him.

Just because people elsewhere are doing the wrong thing doesn't mean he should, just drop it people.

Does installing A2SD break Google Market still? Is it possible to strip Servo Search from the ROM (I hate that app SO much).
