Guest danny2055
has anyone figured out how to do this/in the process of writing an application/utility to do it, maybe one that runs at startup, that'd be incredibly usefull, e.g. holding down both the control buttons at once and it terminates the running application, pity the SPV's closest equivelent to CTRL-ALT-DELETE is the power button :/

Guest danny2055
yeah i've got it, problem is, running some applications slow the system down to such a crawl you cant even load up taskmanager and its quicker to turn off and on again, lol thinking of reinstalling .NET to play around with writing some of these applications
Guest PsychoDave
on a similar note doe anyone know if you can get a restart function running? I've noticed that some apps can reboot your spv, was just wondering if we could use the same function?
Guest Shuflie
Killing the telshell.exe with task manager has just this effect, automatic restart.
Guest Soyale
The code to perform a soft reset uses one of the privileged functions so any app doing a soft reset would need to be signed with a privileged certificate. jp
