Lock button disables auto screen brightness and manual brightness control

Anybody else experienced this problem. Press lock button. Then unlock. Go to settings and try adjusting screen brightness. Neither seem to work for me unless I shut down and restart.

I think you could set the registry key:

HCKU\ControlPanel\Backlight\LockLevel\LockLevel

to 0

but I think it needs to be done once for every soft reset
