Hmm, that's a new one for me indeed.

AFAIK the enableqxdm 0 command you can run just on fastboot.

Did you try in another computer? Or with another USB cable?

No worries, I hope you get at least your sd working. And please, come back and let us know if it worked or not.

BTW, we have a lot of people with the usb-brick problem here :)

Ok.

Browsing the Internet while at work (not busy today) I saw a command radiooptions.

When you type this on a terminal, it gives you a lot of options.

There is an option called QXDM_Disable, and that's option 4.

It doesn't work on my device as it is not rooted (it gives me permission denied).

Is it possible for someone that actually got the usb-less problem and have a rooted device issue a:

sudo radiooptions 4

And see if it gets accepted and if anything changes?

Cheers.

There are some task numbers (28 and 29) here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544409

But one just deletes the userdata and the second doesn't work when S is ON.

Some others here:

but is rtask different from task ?

Yep, different commands.

If you do fastboot oem help, I believe it will tell you the oem commands available.

but not the rtask list

Maybe it's something that will be available when we have security off.

ok so i tried to get my fastboot usb to work without my phone freezing, and i finally got it to work while having it plugged in while running the tinycore linux system from r3(?) root method. so i will probably see the same result in my ubuntu partition , going to test that now. te thing i was wondering is if the linux commands for getting the sdcard up and runnning are the same as the windows commands?

EDIT: ok so i am in ubuntu now and in terminal i went into the tools directory of the android sdk (for linux ofc) and i type the same command as i was told to type in windows, fastboot oem enableqxdm 0 , but it just sais that the command not found. so what do i type to make my sdcard function again when using linux?

Try this in the same directory './fastboot oem enableqxdm 0' without the quotes.

Found the european 405.1 (and more) on xda... Could it be that it won't overwrite the recovery with WWE because the phone is EU? Don't wanna start all over if it doesn't matter which rom I flash and still get the same result... I know I can't downgrade the SPL, but afk the 0.75 was in the desire from the beginning... Any thoughts?

Don't think it'll work... started the updater, searched for *nhb files... none... Still rom.zip..

Is this relevant to why the usb-bricking is occuring?

http://www.twitlonger.com/show/13nj9o

That's interesting. Wondering how many people ended with usb-bricked phones used the recovery console' partition feature rather than another method, or no partitioning at all.
