crash during flashing now how I save it?

my pc crashed during flash.

now when I power on the I8000 I just get the icon to conenct it to the PC.

But what's weird is that if I connect it to the PC I hear contnuoisly the sound like it's disconnecting and I cannot flash it with Octans.

any help ?

The best way is to used XP notebook to flash, it was save and fast. Trouble free as I am doing all the time.

I experienced a bad checksum for the pda part and i also gt the icon stating to connect it to my PC.

Firstly i soft reset my phone by using the button at the back of the phone.

Then i used the original octan, the one which is not modified and only selected the pda part to be flash.

Then i click detect and put in my phone

Then i click click start downloading.

These are the steps i have done to get my phone back alive. If you have problems reconnecting your phone to your pc, do a reboot for your computer and redownload a fresh copy of the non modified newest version of Octan. Hope this helps :huh:
