GoldCard and ROM version downgrading

Question goes for the most advanced users here :huh:

My bootloader is 0.80 and ROM is 1.19.707 flashed using GoldCard of course.

I am unable to go back to original European ROM because bootloader version has been updated (obvious).

But what about next ROM for Europe?

Does its version have to be greater than 1.19.707 (i.e. 1.20.x)? or

GoldCard will enable flashing as long as bootloader version is >=0.80 no matter what the ROM ID is (i.e. 1.16.x.x)?

What are the limits of flashing using gold card?

- the same or newer bootloader required -- I know that already

- the newer ID of ROM itself? - That's what I'd like to know

I think it's just the bootloader version as when you try to downgrade you get a bootloader version error.

I'm afraid it's worse than that ERROR[130]: MODEL ID ERROR

Two possibilities:

* new bootloader renderd GoldCard UNUSABLE

* new bootloader requires flashed ROM has newer version than the existing one

(tried with RUU_Bravo_Telstra_WWE_1.16.841.1_Radio_32.30.00.28U_4.05.00.11_release_126124_signed to replace my RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.19.707.6_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_124362_signed
