What I have to install?

Hi, I write this post to ask you some questions about my Omnia 2 i8000L.

Well, you see, the model is i8000L.

The data I get from the version of the device are:

PDA: I8000LNVNIJ1

CSC: I8000LANCIJ2

PHONE: I8000LVNIJ1

I would like to flash my phone with a good ROM, but i dont know where to begin.. i mean, i read the docs and tutorials, but i have a few questions...

First of all.. it is posible to make a backup of my ROM to have if i do something wrong when i decide to flash the newone or this doesn't work? How to doit?

Seccond, could you tellme a good ROM that has TouchFlo3D 2+ and has spanish?

And finally, what do i have to look when i found a ROM that i like? I mean, what i have to look to know if it will work on my phone?

You should start with the beginning. Key word is READ.

If you do know a lot about flashing, roms, tools, kitchen (which I don't) then go to 5. Otherwise, you MUST read 0-4 before.

0. Reading is there for a reason. There is a lot to read, just read it all and don't complain :P When in doubt, apply this rule :D (aka RTFM) Note: some people have been taking shortcuts and bad things happened.

1. You should be able to find your rom for download. Somewhere, at least service center has it so it exists. Look very hard. Quattroformaggi's FUS or Firmware downloader doesn't work atm.

2. You should read about flashing. There are really good explanations there about what roms are etc. Start here

3. Download updated Dskdump. This is one way to backup your rom. Ofc, read. Original thread here.

4. Download latest Romtool from here. Do read the thread as it explains how to backup your rom.

5. Follow this thread

This is all I can do for you. I have a I8000 so better leave the experts talk :P

It isnt that difficult.

I bought mine in China for RMB 2550 (CHEAP!!) and flashed it.

I have read topics about flashing.. but i still doesnt understand for example, what version of WM do i have.. i know i have 6.5 but is 6.5? 6.5.x?

I will follow the topics that Ender Psp show me.
