List program trashed my SD Card

I was so excited when I found the "Listmaster" program on the marketplace, as it seemed to do everything I was looking for including voice input

Put in one or two lists on my Acer Liquid phone all went well - the maximum number of items seemed to stop at 70 - not sure if this is correct?

Then, as a had a few lists, I thought I had better back them up -

found an option to back up to SD card, ran it ..... and it seemed to work OK

Looked at the SD card to see how to restore and what folder it had created. But the 16 G SD card was no more...... could not read any of the 3G of data I had stored on it!!

All gone! :D :P :P

Took the SD card out and tried it in my computer (with XP) but it could not see the card

Has anyone seen this before?

Any idea what has happened and how I can get it all back?

Mortified! :P

Pete :D

For now I think your SD card can be saved, the data... probably not

As for how...

have to look that up in the morning...

The last time I couldn't see my card on my computer it was corrupted, couldn't restore any data and none of the formatting tools were able to do anything at all.

You can try some of the steps here, but don't get your hopes up.

How old (or new?) was the card?

Bought the card in november from car phone warehouse
