Use titanium backup mate, seems to restore apps etc fine after a reflash. Doesnt seem to restore my screen layouts though

Cheers. This was (surprisingly) not a problem. Just booted into Recovery, didn't wipe anything and flashed with the latest r2 zip. Rebooted, Sense and positions all maintained, apps, settings etc.

Upgraded directly from r1.

Mine seems to be looping but logcat shows that it is doing something with package manager and dalvik hmmmm

My phone booted to show 'HTC' twice, then the 'Virgin Media' splash screen and booted in under 3 minutes or so.

I only flashed for the extra space for Apps, it's great now having a phone which does what you want it to.

I too just flashed, no wipe.....I am unable to access "Accounts & Sync"....this just force closes on me..anyone else having the same? Cheers Andy

Upgraded from r1 with a2sd from xda to r2 inc a2sd, didnt wipe cache. Looking vastly improved, nice work.

I had this problem and found out that if any of the generic sync apps are removed this is the result. So if you removed Stocks, Flickr etc this could be the cause. Try adding them back into your ROM in the kitchen - should work :P

A2SD+ works properly now. Haven't found any problems yet.

I had this problem and found out that if any of the generic sync apps are removed this is the result. So if you removed Stocks, Flickr etc this could be the cause. Try adding them back into your ROM in the kitchen - should work :P

i removed stocks, peep, flickr and more, and have no problems with "Accounts & Sync"

Is anyone else experiencing a constant synch icon due to Facebook for HTC. Also Facebook isn't linking with contacts, apart from that no issues at all.

Thanks Paul for all your great work. I am just curious about timezone bug, is there anyone who can confirm me the GMT for Pakistan in date and time settings. Over here its GMT+5 but my desire always shows it as GMT+6 which is very much annoying. I'll be grateful for any help.

If I use my 4gb Gparted partitioned mem card from my G1 the phone boots, if I use my 16gb card partitioned via recovery it appears to loop. Anyone got any ideas? Would a bigger card take longer to initially boot and setup than a smaller card?

*Reformatted 16gb card again via recovery and all ok now it seems, v odd but all working & setting up now*

Hi Paul,

great ROM - i loved them already on my old Hero!

Only thing what would be really great to have in some further kitchen releases: Original Nexus One Lockscreen ;-)

i like it much more because you cannot unlock it so easy by accident as with HTC Lockscreen.

I have just tried to install the r2 rom. I had the a2sd from r1 rom.

I did a wipe and then flashed the new r2 rom and now I have a boot loop. I keep hearing the htc boot sound.

What do I do?
