How odd... i'll look into the problem with the HTC Modified keyboard. Are you baking it with the old version or on it's own?

P

I baked with the standard one then installed it seperately - I got a FC when I was first selected it via the input method (by holding in the Search Box), but it's okay now..

Very odd.

Anyone with an Orange handset tried a baked ROM with the radio update yet?

Just wondering whether I should include it or not...

I can tell its being hammered the download is taking forever for the baked rom..

I removed HTC sync from my rom, but I've now lost the ability to mount the SD card to my PC. Was this a bad move?

Oh that's handy ritdaw! :P

Do you still see the Settings -> Connect to PC options?

Yes, but I get a force close (com.android.settings).

I've temporarily installed Auto Mount so that I can get access. Thanks for JBED by the way :D

guitarfreak - no, if you wanna keep A2SD, you need to bake it in.

Is it ok to install the dalvik cache update after this rom or will it clash?

Got an infinite boot loop on first try. I think it's because I had that A2SD patch running.

Seems fine now after a full wipe and reflash.

Fantastic efforts Paul. Just upgrading my account to Ad Free now. :-)

Dalvik Patch? Might need to wipe then...

I forgot to say the radio update from the root topic is strongly recommended for this ROM.

Installed, messaging app force closes, nandroided back.

Also, the startup sound was still present.

Mines currently in the oven WITH the radio update - therefore I'll be testing it on Orange (when I get home tonight as thats where my cable is!)
