Guest craigcrawford1988 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 After flashing this, whenever I go into "Accounts & sync" it crashes and goes back to the main settings menu...
Guest Paul Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 After flashing this, whenever I go into "Accounts & sync" it crashes and goes back to the main settings menu... I suspect you un-baked something that's needed, or you baked before I put the fix in! P

Guest John757 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) did the bootanimation also loop when you had to wait that long.... I am still waiting almost 30 min now Had the same problem also (I'd removed sense but kept weather by accident). It didn't like it at all lol. It booted up at first but wouldn't show the desktop so I turned it off and then on again. At this point it was stuck in boot. So about 15mins of waiting, pulled the battery and dropped a new MCR R3 ROM on with the correct options ticked this time, flashed, works fine now :) Cheers Paul. Edited May 13, 2010 by John757
Guest John757 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Paul quick question...or anyone else that has the knowledge to answer. I added the Wifi status program in to my build, but it hasn't been included now I've booted up (assuming it will show in progs menu?). I did do a wipe after flashing, could this be the reason?
Guest Paul Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 No, it won't show in programs menu. It appears when you enable wifi and it's not connected. P
Guest Phily757 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Hey everyone! I've just flashed to r3, but now i wasn't ask if i want to restore the backup of the build-in backup app in android. Isn't that possible with the r3? Edited May 13, 2010 by Phily757
Guest ascito Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Upgraded from r2 A2SD+ to r3 A2SD+ without wiping, everything went fine.
Guest StuMcBill Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) Paul, I have noticed that when you have the Home Screen in "Leap View" you can no longer Hold on a screen and move it to a different position. Not a major problem, but thought I would bring it to your attention. Stewart Edit - Sorry, forgot to say, this is on r3 test. Edited May 13, 2010 by StuMcBill

Guest Rogem Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 One little annoyance, I can't seem to change the default home screen between HTC Sense and Launcher - Switching back to r2 until fixed.
Guest Bokaj Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 A stupid queistion. If i un check the sense/rosie option in the kitchen would i then get rid off sense or??
Guest StuMcBill Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 One little annoyance, I can't seem to change the default home screen between HTC Sense and Launcher - Switching back to r2 until fixed. Yeah I find that too. Not a major problem though.

It should remove sense, however when I removed it I found that my phone would get stuck on the bootup image :) Yeah I find that too. Not a major problem though. I'm in love with the Launcher screen right now though ;) Edited May 13, 2010 by Rogem
Guest Paul Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Yeah I find that too. Not a major problem though. Launcher2 was pulled from this build by HTC. I can put it back, but I highly recommend 'Helix Launcher 2' from the market, which is based on Launcher2 but better. :) P
Guest StuMcBill Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Just noticed, when you change wallpaper, if you go to wallpaper (not HTC wallpaper), they all seem to be blank, where it had the Nexus One wallpaper on r2.
