Reccommended Cases for the Desire

I bought the HTC PO S520, it's the first time I buy a pull up case and I have to say it's really usefull.

For those who want top notch leather cases, there's Noreve : they cost between £30 and £35 (the shipping costs are free if you use the coupon code "journaldugeek"), so it's quite expansive, but it's the price to pay to have very good quality and functionnal leather cases :)

I originally opted for a Golla 549 "Guard Music" case (well, actually called a bag) which is a perfect fit, nicely padded and has two extra pockets if needed for memory cards or whatever. However, if using headphones, the flap will not close properly, so I'm going to try creating a small hole for the plug. Meantime I've been using an old 3rd generation iPod case which again is a perfect fit and its open design means there's no problem when using with headphones.

I'm looking forward as Brando releases its "Dots Pattern Soft Plastic Case" for the Desire, I had one for my former Hero and it was great. Thin, sturdy, almost invisible once installed, cheap.

Yep, I was on it; but after reading the estimated shipping times to Italy I gave up.

I'm Currently using the HTC HD2 original leather case you get with the mobile.

I have to say it fits perfectly!!

The whole phone is protection it doesnt feel tide and you can get it out easy enough, I have this in combination with a Screen Protector tho.

I bought a Red fabric Material Pouch. Fits the Desire well, but I'm not a fan of the toggle fastening at the top (mostly as I don't use it, the ball which holds it in place seems to have the potential to scratch the phone) so I am considering cutting it off.

yeah u right the shipping to israel is the same 2-3 weeks but its worth it :)

i prefer to wait 3 weeks and get the most comfortable and reliable case.

Feels good in the hand, some grip is added, fits perfectly the shell. Recommended.

I'm using the same case except I got mine from GumMobile. It fits the phone excellent, is quite slim and looks nice. Highly recommended.

I bought two cases like this one, one for my girl-friend and one for myself, and i love it.

Desire fits perfectly and since I have quite large hands, it's now more safe to catch the phone, coz' it's thicker and grippy.

I just use a leather pouch to protect it whilst its in my car/pocket/laptop bag. Never used or will use anything that covers the phone permanently. I get the impulse to splash out on a case for the first few weeks I get a new phone as its akin to a new baby being taken out into the world :lol:

IMHO, you should enjoy using the phone, can't do that when its covered by a dead cow or lump of cheap rubber.

IMHO, you should enjoy using the phone, can't do that when its covered by a dead cow or lump of cheap rubber.

i found the gel cases a complete waste of time as the phone won't fit into a dock/car mount when it's wearing its gel jacket. I ended up ditching the gel for a case mate shell

it also looks a lot better than the gel cases and now fits into docks/car mounts.
