These poor-little-boy file sharing "shites" are garbage. I have tried more than ten times to download this new BIN and the downloads either stop 75% of the way through, report "download limit exceeded" or are limited to 10 downloads only.

Waste of time.

All time i launch Handcent (ora default sms app) my liquid load all message sooooo slow... is it only a problem of mine?

Hi all

I've installed this ROM, and it's my first foray in Android 2.1 land :D

Initial impressions are fine, remarks only to be made about the homescreen scrolling speed, and the menu speed which I find a bit laggy.

However I've got a question.

How do I remove that useless XT9 keyboard? To me it's ugly and useless....

I flashed this and then I did a nandroid restore to 0.010 because I forgot to take backup on the apps. Now the phone never gets signal and doesn't detect on the computer.

Can someone post a nandroid backup on a fresh 0.014 install? Or is there another way to fix this?

you need to flash again with Acer tool to 0.010 bin, and then you can restore the nandroid backup

Had the same problem when I did a nandroid restore. :P

To resolve it I installed the superboot img(see other posting on this forum). Then my computer recognized my phone.

After that I could reflashed my phone.

But I still could not restore my nandroid backup. So I opted not to...

I am one happy camper. Speed is awasome, very stable so far, and the friggin' compass is finally working again! Only thing missing now is battery indicator with percentage, and I do miss the web player (you know, flipping through your bookmarks). Any ideas how I can get that back? Or any good alternatives?

I have not met problem with slow loading sms, but most of u sad that problem is gone when I used aosp mms in Liberated.
