I did, that's why I was asking, because the web player widget isn't there. Or I'm overlooking it. Anyway, I've found a good alternative in the new Dolphin Browser HD, it has a 3x3 widget addon with thumbnails.

I have not met problem with slow loading sms, but most of u sad that problem is gone when I used aosp mms in Liberated.

Will be added in LCR for sure

Liquid_User is providing some leaks for the liquid, and all you just can say is judging him, just because he'd like to have more donations for putting theses bin online ?

Liquid_User has firstly asked some donations to publish his first leak, but finally, he posted it without getting any donations (Or at least not enough than expected)... And in the meantime, he posted several other leaks, without OBLIGATING you to make a donation to get the new bin.

And even if he asked for donations before releasing it, in my opinion it could be 'normal', Liquid E isn't released, that's mean some people working in ACER leaks the latest bin, which can make them to be fired and loose their job. So, at least, it would be normal to ask for donations, because I don't think theses people would get any advantage of providing the latest leaks, appart donations.

If you don't agree with this, or have a doubt about Liquid_User, why comin' to this thread and flamming it ? Just wait for the official release, you won't have to make any donations to anybody, and topics will stop being filled with crap posts.

I agree with and I would also like to add:

Whoever is using 2.1 OS, you won't be even doing what you are doing with your liquid now without Liquid_user..

whatever it is you've done a Rom, or a theme, you. Know it won't be possible without liquid _user

so either take the leak and be a quite or a small thank you would be appreciated :-)

Ugh, when flashing this the first time, the flash stopped halfways. And after that even restoring nandroid couldn't get the phone to connect properly on USB, so I couldn't try running the flash again.

Luckily I eventually found that if I reflashed superboot, it should work. Which it did! But I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to get into the bootloader mode using the old remove battery/hardware keys combination, since I'm so used to just using adb to boot into bootloader...

Oh well, it worked out in the end, I got a bit worried for a while there. :P

* Really slow compared to the latest 1.6.

* In french version, still some bugs

(eg : market application : when launch the application with no wifi or 3G the apps shows a wrong error

Apps translate in french is applications. As there is not enough space in the menu bar, the last (s) shows at the second line

* The standard Gallery application is very slow

* I don't know for you, but the battery discharge faster than in 1.6 ??

* Should replace Twidroid with the official apps.

* Google Earth !!??? is really laggy ...

* Other imperfections

If i checked well, this bin was released at the end of April.

And now 2 weeks later the phone is ready to be sold ...

Still a lot of questions here ...

ebuddy is a good example of the phone struggling.

moreover, that idiot xt9 keyboard really sucks and i can't uninstall it. it's ugly, so old looking, sluggish, and should burn in hell.

the battery seems o last as long as 1.6, but i can notice the phones back become warm more quickly than 1.6

Do you have root access ?

then you can remove XT9IME.apk from the /system/app/ folder

the phone will default back to the normal android keyboard

Just checking you know you can switch it to normal android keyboard.

Go into Messaging app and bring up the keyboard. Press and hold bottom left button -> Input Method -> Android Keyboard.

But ...is it me or did Android 2.1 have a more "silverish / goldish" look to its default keyboard? This one is exactly like the old one, except for the delete key...
