Guest thebass Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 I have no idea why there is a 20 person limit when texting, annoying having to text 200 people in 10 repetitive steps. I tried group sms but when it adds all the phone numbers to the text messaging i see music notes and other funny characters in between the entire phone number, so im not sure if its sending properly. Anyone have any success with mass texting?
Guest idiotjohn Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 (edited) EDIT: Link is http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach...st&id=40519 If you disable the samsung sms thing first, then it will work... erm you can find the cab somewhere on this website... its called disableskinsmsemail.cab as i recall. Basically you can still use the samsung thing, but ou can also use the orginal with group sms and by clicking on email and then messeging. Edited May 9, 2010 by idiotjohn
Guest thebass Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Thanks John, I actually found a new program that handles bulk messaging nicely by customizing the first line such as "Hello, [FIRSTNAME]"... you can switch it up a few ways. If you use groups sms, then this program might be a little more beneficial. It also sends the text messages directly from the program without the Omnia sending progress screen. Skb Group SMS and Scheduler 5.2 http://www.skbsoftware.com/group-sms-scheduler/ This company also has a good file lock program that prevents access to pictures text or any files.
