I prefer Titanium any day over Samsung's Today/Samsung's Widget UI/Sense UI 2.5/SPB Shell/Point UI or Winterface and or any of the less popular replacements.

Here's two add-on's that make Microsoft's UI a lot better,

1.Home Screen Customizer

This allows for easy customization. Has some awesome plug-ins built-in Favorite Contacts/Weather/Quick App Launcher

2. Google App

Google has put out a nice update to there Google Mobile app. It is wonderful. Give it a try.

Besides landscape mode on titanium not working with stock Samsung ROM's it rocks.

Also how do I customize Samsung Today? I want to have shortcuts of only my specific apps in that?

The latest Samsung Today cab lets you choose 12 shortcuts (installed apps) in 4 items per screen, 3 screens. Same with contacts, 12 contacts in 4 in each of the 3 "screens".

Also how do I customize Samsung Today?

after a quiky with S. today im going back to ttanium it more elastic it has more opertunities to customize

the best of the best is the HTC Sense...

but titanium with JML today its really good...

for me gChris's enhancment sucks. Have not tried JML's

Overall i think stock with the right addon panels rocks :)

Here are more but the HSC i am going to post has Contacts/Quick Apps and Weather built in.

The only other addon panel i recommend is Google's search one i posted that earlier.

I replaced original samsung today dlls to change the wallpaper, but now samsung today does not start and i cannot regain control of the phone to restore the settings. Any idea how to solve it?

this titanium is not working on my omnia 2. don't know why, although i followed all the procedures in readme.txt.

back to samsung today though..
