Guest .hack_infection Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 You could try flashing to one of the roms in the i910 forums. Bing wouldn't install until I did that. ordinarily I would, but my phone is having problems, and I might take it to verizon soon.
Guest andrew.lamarra Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) I think I'm using Lioryte's base DC22 rom (it says WM 2.6.X Build 28205, at the start screen), but this just isn't working out for me. The new Bing.CAB file won't even let me install saying that my resolution is not supported. I still have the older cab (BingWM6.CAB) which will let me install, but gives me the "not supported" message as soon as I run the app. I went to where it's installed but there is no Bing.config file. Very frustrating since this is my most frequently used app. Anyone have any ideas? If not, got any ideas for a replacement app? Thanks. EDIT: I just tried the version found here: http://cid-507a4113ca4f5909.skydrive.live....wse.aspx/Public Still doesn't work... Edited July 20, 2010 by andrew.lamarra

Don't really feel like re-installing everything. But I might if this doesn't work. Anyway, the files I downloaded for Bing & Google Maps have some strange file extentions. They're not cabs.

Guest andrew.lamarra Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) It's .7z files 7-Zip, free and powerful :( Oh... Well that resolves it. I just thought 7zip files always ended in .7z Edited July 22, 2010 by andrew.lamarra
Guest kcmtnbiker Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Anyone else having trouble getting new version to recognize speech? Worked fine for a while then suddenly stopped. Now all I get is "Sorry, we didn't understand you". I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no luck. Everything else seems to work fine. Thanks

Guest kcmtnbiker Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Seems to be working again. Must be a service issue with Bing.
