Poor quality of colors in omnia 2

The O2's hardware is able to support up to 16M colors, but the windows mobile OS restricts that to only 65K color.

I think it has to do with the samsung AMOLED display. It is listed as having only 16-bit color.

some of the newer winmo builds have implemented dithering. With them the gradient's look much better and although you can still see them you really have to look for them to notice...

I use the "Save for Web & Devices..." option under File. I use...

It works well with colors that are pretty similar, I don't know about many vivid colors.
