Guest Spooke Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 I DO NOT have vibrate working Coming from 1.7 MCR vanilla, here is what I did: - chose the wipe option in recovery mode. - I *tried* to wipe the dalvik cache but got an error saying something about adb - chose to update the phone using the file on the card - phone updated and went back to recovery console - pulled out the sd card - chose the reboot option. As I say, doing the above, vibrate does not work. Not sure what the key step is. Apart from that, the ROM looks quite stable and very fast. Still suffering from the stuttering list scrolling that the T-Mob ROMs suffered from before (the vanilla ROM greatly improved list scrolling). Oh yeah, and the gallery seems to be the same as 1.5 for some reason. Started now, I did the same, mine also said something about go to ADB at the dalvik cache Will pull out SD just incase

Guest Spooke Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 mine also likes to restart for now apparent reason, I guess this is why it is called a beta lol Lol, well I re flashed the update to see if it fixes anything :)
Guest ndot Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 Because I can't have phone ringing at school/work and I would miss stuff on silent.
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 mine also likes to restart for now apparent reason, I guess this is why it is called a beta lol I have my booted for 8 hours now, with not a single reboot, a2sd and vibration working. Some advices: - Root explorer: deleting unwanted things stopped almost all Force closes. - AutoKiller: Improve ALOT the system speed, it's almost a requiremment to have this rom. That'll help, i'm sure.
Guest Harash! Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 Does anyone know how can we use DroidExplorer with this ROM, or does DroidExplorer require busybox or sth like that. :) It worked ok with Vanilla 1.7....

Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 How did u install the update? what process, also what files did u remove? Thanks! I've installed in the most simple way. (Didn't have a ext2 partition at the time) - wipe - flash & done. Then after messing arround a bit, I've formatted sd card and created the ext2 partition. After that I noticed a HUGE difference in the speed, for worse of course. That apart, everything else works great. I have 25 custom appz installed ATM.
Guest Torkaban Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Hi ! I found the 2.1 Gallery if someone is interested Gallery nvm.. eckengucker1 was faster : ) Edited May 12, 2010 by Torkaban
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 12, 2010 Report Posted May 12, 2010 Which autokiller preset are you using? Strict. But I didn't see any noticeable difference between it and Optimum preset. My fingers are crazy to try Extreme. But I just don't know what'll happen =X
