Guest mr.a Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 If you don't have linux on a CD, just download DamnSmall Linux (~50MB) and install it on your USB disk, or create a bootable medium :) I'm lucky that i installed Kubuntu 10.04 a few days ago on a 40 gb usb hdd ;) Linux rules :D
Guest Totyasrác Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Same here lol! I've just done that 5 minutes ago :) ;) :D Might be fixed with another app handling contatcs though :(

Guest BigBearMDC Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 A man isn't a man without a Linux CD :) I have Ubuntu even installed on my external hard drive, including GRUB, so I can boot it everywhere I want ;) BTW for instructions on how to create a bootable medium under windows look here.
Guest robertopero Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Still no vibrate with this ROM, but there is more free memory.
Guest eckengucker1 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 A man isn't a man without a Linux CD :) I prefer my penis instead of a linux-cd. BTW: I formated my phone SD in recoverymode and it worked out too

Guest Totyasrác Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 For me it's the opposite: vibration yes, free memory no... (After installation I had 15MBs of space left, according to menu/settings/SD and phone. But checkin' with AutoKiller it says 35MB. Weird :-o) Still no vibrate with this ROM, but there is more free memory.
Guest Rem1x Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Lol, turns out you can't just install Contact.apk, and that works.

Guest goce.nakov Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Do I need to reformat the SD card if I install the version without A2SD??
Guest Paul Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 My server just fell over it seems, when that's back up R6 is ready to go... P
Guest niko1986 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I got an issue with SU requests, it just sits there blank whenever I try and change a permission. R4 worked using phone memory, but not A2SD but since moving onto R5 its stopped working for both.
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 I'm glad I went out to lunch ;P Otherwise I'd probably have already flashed r5 :)

Guest Rem1x Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Any one who has R5, just get contact.apk from another ROM and install it, it works perfect!
