I bet you've all done something wrong.

I'm gona install R6 A2SD now without pulling out my SD card.

Will report back if it's worked or not.

Had to take a call, yep it works fine.

R6 A2SD.

Still have quickboot etc, didn't pull sd card.

First time: r4 -> wipe -> r6 = freeze boot

Second: nandroid r4 -> wipe -> nandroid 1.5 -> wipe -> flash r6 -> remove sd = success

Strange, so it isn't solely an a2sd+ issue then. I wonder why mine refused so stubbornly to boot that version unless I removed the SD card.

(wiped, repartitioned, tried flashing from r5, MCR 1.7 etc, every combination)

The worst bug is when yourestart your phone, you must move the SD card out and put it again in your phone, but then all apps, MARKET and widgets desapeare.... Plesee, Paul and Bobo, fix this first!!!! Its so annoying!!!!! :)

you've moaned about everything so far. go back to 1.5

For people having R6 issues, just install R5 and install the contacts apk through adb.

That's my experience, but screwface suggests he didn't have the problem with the a2sd version either. It may be more complex.

Paul if vibrating isn't possible would it be possible to make the phone play a very low frequency bass sound that makes the phone shake.

Mine wouldn't boot with an EXT partition on the SD card. I got it to boot fine with just a FAT32 partition on the card. Then when I went into the recovery image to partition the card with a 512MB EXT partition, it wouldn't boot (so obviously no Apps2SD, which I would like). That's when I gave up and went back to MCR 1.7 :).

and upload it somewhere so that we, the unfortunate ones, can restore this backup through

the recovery as reflashing the sam rom has made us tired.

yes i installed some apps then checked my internal storage space and it hadn't gone down.

Hi if you have still got the r4 rom on your computer then you could simply copy it from there in system/app and then find the contacts.apk file.

because it recognizes your Hungarian SIM card
