Guest BigBearMDC Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I`m getting alot of "network eror has occurred" when connecting to the market. Trying to download apps is even worse. Downloading apps is a pain in the arse, even if you apply the original update. Sometimes I have to restart a download up to 10 times until it works :)
Guest le_lutin Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 finished a phone call, the phone was off and restarted. When a call is restarted 4 times annoying error I get this too. Not good.
Guest ogiogi Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I get this too. Not good. No restarts for me. Using r6 A2SD+. Only acore FC when using Live wallpapers.

Guest BigBearMDC Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 d'you have good vibs with the vanilla kernel? Fortunately, this has nothing to do with the kernel ;) Just downloaded and compiled the Eclair source :)
Guest masterpfa Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 I'll decide over the weekend to give this a proper 'going over' next week (full optimisation, re-org, kitchen etc. etc.)... :) I see quite a few of you in this thread are Ad Free / Plus peeps so a kitchen might be worthwhile... P ;) That would be awesome. This phone still has great potential, that could use 2.1
Guest eckengucker1 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Fortunately, this has nothing to do with the kernel ;) Just downloaded and compiled the Eclair source :) Vibs still not working?
Guest BigBearMDC Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Vibs still not working? I never had problems with the vibration not working as I installed the original update :) But therefore sound and network aren't working atm...

Guest BigBearMDC Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Vibration seems to work fine for me with the Vanilla ROM.

Strange, seems to be a driver problem with 2.1 Edited May 14, 2010 by eckengucker1

Guest screwface Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 QUOTE Go to shell (from cmd->adb shell or directly through a terminal) # #cd data #cd app #cd ls You will get a list of installed application with the complete package name of the package containing the main activity. e.g com.company.product.apk #rm XXX.apk #cd ls I've worked it out, my phonebook is tied in with the contacts apk. I'll just remove it and install the vanilla 2.1 contacts apk.
