Guest pornostar Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 How did you update? OTA? No, that was offered, but did not work. I used PB99IMG.zip (Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed) which I put on SD card and booted it with fastboot.

Hi mate - Just tryed again and half way through part 1 after the "Sudo ./step1.sh" command there was an error "Failed(Remote: 90 hboot pre-update Please try again" but Then it carryed on and was succsessful Then i did the second Sudo ./step2.sh and it failed and now my desire wont boot just has a picture of a phone with green arrows in a circle What do i need 2 do!!! Guest Rudolfje Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 The error halfway through in step1 is normal, as long as it continues as it did for you. Do you remember the error in step2? It looks like your phone booted into some sort of recovery by itself, don't know how to solve that...

Yeh it displays that error message but then says its trying again and completes successfully on Linux - But on windows method it will not continue. After step1.sh completes on linux i take my gold card out and boot back up and try step2.sh and it fails saying no device is found it will not do anything. I have managed 2 get my phone working again using the unroot process .. Still would rather have an 2.2 on there, Anybody got any ideas?
Guest Rudolfje Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 If you're back on Stock ROM without root and everything is working properly you could try step1 and step2 again.

Guest UnitedWeFall Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 I got this working on my Telstra Desire, except now the GPS won't work. Apparently this is a common problem. Does anyone know how to solve this?
