Guest kuoching Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 i m having a problem whenever i pick up a call, the screen light turns off automatically after a few seconds...i need the screen light to be on as normally i need to run another program/software whenever i receive calls....am i missing any setting? tq
Guest ray1234 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 it's the proximity sensor driver that turns off the screen. If you hate that feature, disable the proximity sensor via registry.
Guest flover Posted May 15, 2010 Report Posted May 15, 2010 u will need the proximity sensor as it will lock the screen when it near(touch) to our ear to prevent something been touch when phone near to ear.

Guest Pete B Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 (edited) any solution for my problem? i really cant stand when the screen turns off automatically as i need to do database search while on phone...any solution? tq As previously mentioned it is designed to do that so your ear doesn't make your phone do things you don't want it too. When you take the phone away from your face it should turn the screen back on. Or edit the registry like already mentioned!! Edited May 23, 2010 by Pete B
