i m having a problem whenever i pick up a call, the screen light turns off automatically after a few seconds...i need the screen light to be on as normally i need to run another program/software whenever i receive calls....am i missing any setting? tq

it's the proximity sensor driver that turns off the screen. If you hate that feature, disable the proximity sensor via registry.

u will need the proximity sensor as it will lock the screen when it near(touch) to our ear to prevent something been touch when phone near to ear.

any solution for my problem? i really cant stand when the screen turns off automatically as i need to do database search while on phone...any solution? tq

As previously mentioned it is designed to do that so your ear doesn't make your phone do things you don't want it too. When you take the phone away from your face it should turn the screen back on.

Or edit the registry like already mentioned!!

Maybe download my More shortcuts and find needed button. (toggle proximity, light ON/off, Min max middle, Autobacklight/manual)

thanks for your reply..u have a very comprehensive tweaking program.. .i havent tested it yet-proximity toggle.....may b tml i will try it...before that...how to turn off the battery monitor at the top right corner...thanks ....
