Guest dstu Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Hello, I would like to hard-reset my phone due to some problems, but I need the stored SMS messages, so I would like to back them up to my PC. My messages are stored in folders that I created. I would appreciate your recommendations or if anyone knows how/where the messages are actually stored, information about that. Thanks, David

Guest rybar73 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Hi, every time when I flash new ROM I use MyPhone and backup my Contacts/SMS/Calendar..to MyPhone server(not to local PC). I think that it is one of the best thing from Microsoft :-)
Guest silvos3189 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 i use Jeyo http://www.jeyo.com/companion.asp I had 25,000 text on my phone and decided to finally just back them up... so I used that program to back them all to my computer then not only backed them up, but saved my convos with certain people in html format... threaded too.
Guest dstu Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 I ended up using "PIM Backup", available here: http://www.dotfred.net/ It's excellent. Highly recommended.
