I already installed the B250 ROM on my phone.

But after replace de boot.img, by a rooted one, nothing happend. I still don't have root.

Nothing happened with that firmware version too?? Can you PM me with a link to that version so that i can test it also?

By the way.. are you facing issues with Amon_RA recovery as well? Mine crashes whenever i turn USB on.. or when i verify zipped rom's package.. after a minute or so. When it crashes it just reboots the phone! I am starting to believe those rumors about PT TMN A1 that claim that this phone is really not the base version of U8230 (i mean that some people are clamming that this version actually has 256MB max sized ROM .. and not only the +/- 190MB on the base version). True or not.. i donnow.. but this sure is a lot strange if we consider the same hardware.. same ROMs and therefore.. same chksums.

Can't any cooking chef here take a look at this boot and express an opinion?

Yes... i've been reading this for a while but i wasn't sure! It seems that it was a operator request. Now.. it's probable that this wasn't made in exclusive to TMN.. and factory model must be different than just "u8230"..

..if only huawei replied to these questions on their forum.. :rolleyes:

my u8230 has the same amount with pulse, ram 96mb rom 105mb.. with u8230xxxx250 rom...

The specs for the u8220 say 192RAM and 256ROM?
