the old Rom will not work because it has an older Kernel, the annoying thing is that the new kernel also not work...

i'll try to fix them, well maybe the 2.6.29 Kernel works now. :rolleyes:

are u sure press volume down, end button, and power all at the same time? try not to release the buttons until the screen show something..

I am also stuck need to know how to put U8230 in recovery mode via keys way you mentioned cannot enter in recovery mode please help.
