HI! i usb-bricked my device today when doing a nandroid recovery so now i cant connect via usb in either recovery or OS. i can however connect to usb in fastboot but the second i do so my phone freezes and i have to pull the battery to restart it. but you should know that my computer makes the connected/disconnected usb device sound when putting in and taking out usb cable, even though phone is totally frozen. ok so i know i need to turn in my phone to get a replacement but i dont want to pay 450 euro for the new device ofcourse. so i wanted to try to flash a generic rom so i plug my phone into the computer while in fastboot and run the generic RUU. but this does not work because when it is searching for my rom image it sais "image: FAILED (too many links)" something like that, dont remember exactly. i have tried the procedure 3 times and even once with the test RUU from r1 root method.

i will try anything! i know there are alot of competent people on these forums, so i am sure i will get a generic rom on my device with you help!

my phone wont read my sdcard either btw.

What exactly did you do before USB was turned off? Any errors?

Power off the phone, hold 'back key' then power... go into your adb\tools and enter from a cmd window:

fastboot oem enableqxdm 0

This should re-enable your sd card...
