Guest Rem1x Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 (edited) I love this ROM. So quick. edit: The linpack score is LOOOOWWW. edit2: Needs more r00t. Edited May 16, 2010 by Rem1x
Guest Swiftes Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 Very quick indeed, slick, and nice looking. My issues so far: Occasional reboot No Wi-fi No music listed in the player?Big issue for me, I use my phone for music a lot, and this could be the killer. Just to also add, how do I get back to recovery? this is probably a noob question, but on the 1.7 MCR I was using before, it was just Quick Boot, recovery.

Hold down "Menu" and "Red" (End Call) whilst powering on with the "Power" button. Edited May 16, 2010 by JingleManSweep

Guest starkos Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 (edited) Hey zerosignull, I've been following this & your old thread & have followed your tips to create a rom based on paul's r6.1. Wifi, a2sd and root are all working and the rom is super fast lol, the two main problems I've noticed so far are I can't get a data connection through o2, and no media is recognised by the phone (including ringtones), do these two problems occur on your release as well? Edit: Just found another bug, can't be heard during phone calls so seems as though mic is broken, hopefully it's one of the stock apk's that have done this Edited May 16, 2010 by starkos
Guest JingleManSweep Posted May 16, 2010 Report Posted May 16, 2010 Your a legend, thanks a bunch! :) I hope you don't mean an "HTC" Legend? Hehe... No worries... All the basic stuff (such as accessing recovery mode) is detailed on the wiki page I started some time ago. Although some stuff may be out of date, it is a useful resource for general Android flashing/hacking etc... http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Huawei_U8220

Just saw on the R6.1 thread that you are experiencing loads of FC's? Is this after you made the "build.prop" changes? Strange, as my phone was rebooting every 10 minutes on Friday, but has been up for about 1.5 hours so far, so stability has definitely increased (on my phone at least).
