Guest BigBearMDC Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Great tutorial, especially for beginners :( But did nobody else notice that the topic title is incorrect? It says "How to update your Pulse using a UPDATA.APP file", but it should be named "How to update your Pulse using a update.zip file", as it describes how to flash an update.zip file :( Best regards, BigBear
Guest Otto222 Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) After installing install-superboot-windos and install-recovery-windows, it won't boot in the Android system recovery screen when holding menu-redbutton when powering it up. It goes in a boot loop with t-mobil screen- "android" text screen- t-mobile boot screen. Edit: Did not have the December update, installed superboot 1.4, now it booted all the way. Guest riskyrikky Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 Hi, I got the phone working on 2.1 without problems from the hungarian version. however, I found the Bluetooht stack implementation is totally screwd. I cannot get the phone working with my in-car hansfree. I tried it on a Mercedes A and a BMW 5, where V1.5 rom was working. I noticed also that there are many complaints already regarding the BT stack. So - I hato t give up and revert back to 1.5 very sorry... did like the 2.1 appearance (or experience as the ms folks like to say...) ;)

My phone works perfect with the BT Handsfree kits I've used, despite the manufacturer saying they are not compatible with Android phones (although, admittingly, I did have problems pairing when using 1.5. It would connect, then immediately disconnect Oddly enough)
