6.5.3 has higher battery drain than 6.5

after flashing to 6.5.3 JE1, i found the battery ran much faster than before (6.5 JA1) under the same usage pattern. heard some rumors that 6.5.3 drains more power. is that true?

Well I know JE1 is 6.5.3 and JE2 is 6.5 .

I am wondering if Samsung is running multi-versions for this reason...

yeah i been using JE1 and notice a huge difference in battery draining faster. I had JD1 previously and did not have a issue but JE1 is just really bad at least for me

WinMo 6.5.X is known to use more resources than 6.5. You can read all about it in various places around this forum. For this reason, I personally don't use it.

I'm afraid that switching from 3G to 2G is not a solution. Everyone knows that 2G uses MUCH less power than 3G.
