Verizon Samsung SCH-i920 Assistance

Hello There... This is my first post...

I live in Costa Rica, and i have the oportunity to get an Verizon Omnia II SCH-i920... But i have some questions...

I already know that Verizon don't use SIM CARD since they use CDMA technology, but i was wondering if the headset has the sim card slot to use the device with a GSM carrier in central america.

Do you people know if this phone has sim card slot ?

Yes i think i should do that... but instead of a i920 it will be required to get an i8000 due that model has a simcard slot...
