Edit - nope - would appear not, was stuck on the HTC startup screen for over an hour. Now wont boot.

Anyone any ideas as to how i might get it into recovery so i can flash it?

Edit - got it, performing restore now - lesson learned ;)

For anyone who doesn't like the one that comes with the original circle battery mod and would prefer something a little more graphicsy.

Screenshot:

I have attached a framework-res.apk (rename to apk) file with the modded alarm icon. Just push it with adb.

Edit: I did only change the alarm icon compared to the original one.

Works with r3.1 + v14 of richardtrip's uvoc kernel. First boot took about 5 mins plus. After booting to sense UI, it rebooted by itself. Once in sense UI, it hanged and does not respond to key presses. I had to remove the battery and after that it re-booted fine.

Here you can find these ICONS ONLY in a zip file (framework-res_Fightspit.zip)

and the FULL zip file (based from the "Pays-ROM Desire Sense") with these colored icons (framework-res.zip)

Note: The FULL zip file works only on de-odexed ROM (as it already said before and don't forget to rename .zip into .apk).

Well, I would like to do what you said but I don't really know how to make a zip file for the flash :/

If someone is able to do this, it will be very nice :lol:

So I think only the full zip file can be modified for flashing.

The blue bluetooth icons (and others custom icons) is include in the full zip file which is not made by me.

You can have a look in the "framework-res\res\drawable-hdpi" folder.

I am rooted using r5 desire root and using the r3.1 ROM

Download and set up Android SDK. Reboot your phone to recovery (either permanent custom, or the push-files method).

Open up command prompt and type adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework. Reboot & you're done.
