Guest jebise Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 If you open touch player it gives 15 volume levels even if you use the volume up/down button. So is there a way we can make that the default when touch player is not enabled i would think it a simple registry edit. I hate only having 5 options if you don't use touch player. I like to keep my level between 2-3 and hate opening touch player each time i want to change the levels. Another stupid move from samsung, why couldn't they they have a bar so you can set the level you want in stead of 5 options.

FWIW, S2U2 includes a very nice, semi-transparent replacement for the volume control that implements 15 volume levels. You can use S2U2 for this feature only, disabling everything else if you don't want the locking an callerID features. Also, I've heard around here that S2U2's volume control is a clone of some standalone implementation by another developer, but I don't know any more than that. Maybe someone else knows more and can give details. Finally, for really, really fine control, there is a small volume control app that gives (I think) full 128-step resolution. I don't use it, because it doesn't tie in to the volume rocker. I'll see if I can find it and post a link. I'm an S2U2 user for all its rich features, so I use its volume control and never looked back.
Guest jebise Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 i don't really want a new application. It has to be a simple registry that tell it to use which volume control
