I agree with that. I've just installed the gapps and done the net_cfg fix. Rebooting now. Hope it works :huh:

Update: 3G works. First boot I've got the setup app ;)

Did you try to find different apps on Market?

Did you try to find different apps on Market?

I haven't got that far yet. Do you have a problem with the market?

Edit: Ah you will do. The ROM uses test keys.

ro.build.description=full_pulse-eng 2.2 FRF85B eng.tom.20100901.214738 test-keys

ro.build.fingerprint=generic/full_pulse/pulse/:2.2/FRF85B/eng.tom.20100901.214738:eng/test-keys

Sure.

Things like AutoKiller and Opera Mini are not available. Luckily AEP Reader is :huh:

Edit the build.prop and change the fingerprint to this:

ro.build.description=passion-user 2.2 FRF91 43546 release-keys

ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion/mahimahi:2.2/FRF91/43546:user/release-keys

May be worth changing the build id to FRF91 also.

ro.build.id=FRF91

ro.build.display.id=FRF91

Thanks!!!

I've been looking into the differences between builds FRF85B and FRF91 and the only differences seem to be some very small security fixes. Tom, did you have problems trying to build FRF91?

You can always mount the sdcard manually.

Or u can use this and flash your phone via recovery mode with this.

in the terminal type:

su
mountsd
mountext2[/code]

And you will have your FAT and EXT2-3 partitions mounted

But it won't mount during boot

The FAT32 partition automatically mounts on boot once I added the mountsd and mountext2 binaries to the system using your zip file. The ext2 partition does not automatically mount which is normal as a2sd usually mounts this itself.

The more I use this, the more I notice how much better it is.

It's amazing! I'm browsing the web, with music playing and it feels better then it did on 2.1 sans music! Every thing is smooth, the phone is truly usable.

Thanks to every one working on this ROM :huh:

Could someone record a short video and put it on youtube so we can all see what we're missing? ;)

Nice work Tom G with the latest release, as stated by the others everything is OK, hope to see more soon :huh:

one question, can we somehow replace the Contact from 2.1? Like from FLB 1.5? I tried it but ended in a constant fc ;) The reason is because all of my contact are stored on the SIM and it worked flawlessly with the RBM Contacs.

Cheers and keep up the good work
