R3 MCR does not change the kernel (correct me if I'm wrong).

I think he want to know what are the benefits if you apply the upgrade.

I don't answer because I don't know

Can this be flashed through the desire recovery, or does it have to be the custom? (bricked usb... )

Paul, please include an option of OC+UV. It works great on the Desire. Would love to use Your tweaks with OCUV.

Ditto... have been using richardtrip's OC+UV and its great... BUT MoDaCo Tweaks and richhardtrip's OC+UV combined, would be AMAZING!!!

Is r1.1 locked to any particular clock speed or does it speed step?

Does the stock kernel speed step?

It seems that Richard Trip has released on xda a new version of his modified kernel, which now combines Paul's modifications and UV/OC !

I'm intersted in knowing what this has done to people's battery life, I understand Paul suggested this would reduce it? How have people found the difference?

Does the OCUV kernel increase or reduce battery life?

This is a significant issue over here as I do sometimes find myself with no easy way of charging my phone from one day to the next!

If OCUV will increase the battery life then I too would be very keen to see these combined.

Lastly thanks again for the tireless work you put in Paul! I'll be upgrading my membership when some money *finally* arrives in my bank account!

i add one more question, with this MCK flashed on my phone can i use SetCpu for underclock?

No, it wont. That was a bug with r1 - the clock speed was constantly locked at 768MHz. This is r1.1, it doesn't have that bug.

Yes.

system wasn't mounted correctly so I'd guess it's your recovery script on your pc that is glitched or just a weird bug... reboot your comp, redownload recovery package and kernel and retry?

has anyone try to disable the 3 bootloop to debug mode stuff? so we can flash without the possibility to loose USB? Also the system protection is not controlled by the kernel? I mean there should be some kind of gpio enabling it, so we should be able to just overcome it. Or is it enable by the bootloader?

At a guess, you're not flashing on a MCR ROM.
