Guest squrl Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Should you wipe before applying the new kernel? I guess not? :( No need to wipe.
Guest nitrox1 Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Is this still the 'massaged' kernal, stuck at 700..Mhz, or is it back to 900Mhz? Could we also add a setcpu.txt file for this kernal, like richards one? for OCing? If we can what is the recommended maximum, for it?
Guest koider Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Are there any changes to the source code from the stock kernel, or is the MCK built from the stock sources with a different config? If there are source changes any chance of a diff (or git repo)?
Guest the-fallen Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 I guess there were no code-patches used for this kernel (but hey, I do not know that for sure) but at least the .config is altered. A diff between the original .config and the one from this kernel can be found some posts before in this thread.
Guest nerdo Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 @Paul I have set up my own little microwavish kitchen, experiencing a bit ..... have loads to learn  Interested in cooking MCK in a rom Correct me please: 1. split boot.img into boot.img-kernel and boot.img-ramdisk.gz 2. use boot.img-kernel from MCK to with my boot.img-ramdisk.gz to create my new boot.img 3. bake that with modules in my rom or can I just use MCK whole boot.img iin case of modding stock roms? Cheers
